When initially released, the Steam version 1.0 of the game was a direct port from Nintendo Switch, made by Bee Tribe – with all graphical assets from that platform.
Microsoft Store version of the game was using new assets from “Next-gen” console version of the game, made by Muteki.
Later the Steam release has been updated with the same assets as the MS store build and called v1.10. But it has more bugs and issues with some controllers.
For that reason the older build of the game is now officially available for owners in a Steam beta branch.
That’s why I’ve included both builds of the game – you can compare them and save the one you like more.
Please note, that my repack installs modified Engine.ini for both versions of the game to improve graphics quality. Also, v1.0 in this repack is powered by Muteki HD Textures Mod, which includes most (but NOT all) graphical assets from v1.10
- Based on two Steam releases: BuildID 9495844 (v1.0, 20.7 GB) & BuildID 11079788 (v1.10, 23.2 GB), thanks to smiglo5 for files!
- Goldberg crack/emu applied over v1.0 (v1.10 is DRM-free)
- Muteki HD Textures Mod (14.8 GB) applied over v1.0, thanks to SenchouPuck!
- Modified Engine.ini applied over to improve gfx quality
- 100% Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation (ONLY when installed with optional console audio files)
- NOTHING ripped, NOTHING re-encoded
- Selective Download feature: you may skip downloading and installing of unused console audio files for v1.10
- Significantly smaller archive size (compressed from cumulative 58.7 to 17.7~19 GB, depending on selected components)
- Installation takes from 20 minutes (on 24-threads CPU + SSD) up to 1 hour 15 minutes (on 4-threads CPU + HDD)
- After-install integrity check so you could make sure that everything installed properly
- HDD space after installation: 58.7 GB (up to 95.4 GB during installation)
- Language can be changed in game launchers settings
- Repack uses compression libraries by Razor12911
- At least 2 GB of free RAM (inc. virtual) required for installing this repack
- Copy contents of “_Windows 7 Fix” folder to the game root to be able to play on Windows 7. You can also use this fix if you have crashes on Windows 10/11
